Devin Cooper’s Guide to Healthy Eating on the Road (Low-Fat Meal Prep That Works)
Meet Devin Cooper, an established Calgary-based musician known for his country rocker vibes and award-winning songs. For over a year, he’s been using Fit Kitchen to stay nourished while tackling a busy tour schedule and the everyday demands of his career.
Devin’s Story
In 2020, Devin donated 80% of his liver to his father. Along with that came the removal of his gallbladder, which changed a number of things, including what he can eat on a daily basis. In the absence of a gallbladder, the body has a more difficult time digesting fatty foods. In Devin’s case, this made finding convenient food on the road a real problem, with every quick meal leaving him feeling sluggish and unsatisfied.
Somewhere along this journey, we ended up chatting with Devin about his entire food experience while on the road – and frankly, at home. We pulled up the Fit Kitchen menu, and it was a done deal from there. Now, whenever he sets out on another tour or has a busy period coming up, he turns to Fit Kitchen to make meal planning simple, convenient, and satisfying.
